About Us
The History of Our Practice
Northeast Surgery was founded in 2006 by Dr. Helen Raynham in Waltham, Massachusetts, with its first location being at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) West. Dr. Raynham's main goal was to provide patients with excellent dermatologic care. She wanted to ensure that patients had excellent continuity of care, allowing them to follow up with their primary dermatologist. That same year, Dr. Raynham opened an office in Chelmsford and Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts. In March of 2010, we opened an office in Arlington, Massachusetts. Dr. Raynham's vision was to work closely with other surgical providers and after working closely with Dr. Loreen Ali and Dr. Suzanne Freitag, she persuaded them to join the practice in a collaboration that was a huge benefit to our patients. As our practice grew, we were very fortunate to have Dr. Christine Hayes join our group. Northeast Surgery Center strives to provide a comfortable and personalized approach to skin cancer and plastic surgery.
